Student Activities

  • We hold a reception in the student award recipients honor at the local William Winters (Archives and History) building.
  • Grades 5th to 12th receive DAR Youth Citizens Awards for a total of 15 students chosen by their counselor.
  • The DAR Good Citizen Award goes to two senior students.
  • A JROTC student is awarded a medal and certificate award.
  • Photo op is after the program, and
  • A buffet of morning snacks and drinks are offered.
  • 2 Essays; Patriots of the American Revolution and Tomb of the Unkown Soldier

Community Classroom

Our regent goes to a school and gives a lesson with question and answer with the teacher present. Gifts are given to the teacher and all students.
