  • Veterans Day each year hosted in conjunction with the Army National Guard. Now being held at the Mississippi History and Mississippi Civil Rights Museum.
  • Recognizing Veterans Jackson Metro area chapters serve our veterans on Veteran’s Day. 
  • Reverence for Fallen Soldier—gold mother at wreath
  • Recognizing a Gold Star Mother— The Gold Star Mother recognized at Veteran’s Day for the loss of her son.

  • Chapter Members Volunteer for Christmas Shoppe for Veterans—In December, veterans a the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center Nursing Home had their Christmas made merrier thanks to members of DAR and C.A.R.
